the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace (CDW) today released a letter it sent to the Board.
Letter to President Obama in Opposition to the nomination
of Craig Becker
We write in opposition to the nomination of Craig Becker
as a Member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and we strongly encourage you not to appoint Mr.
Becker during the upcoming congressional recess, without
receiving the appropriate consent from the Senate.
CDW is working to permanently defeat the "card check" legislation that would take away the private ballot, and to let Members of Congress and presidential candidates know not only how harmful it is, but that we will hold them responsible for how they vote. The success or failure of this issue will be determined by our ability to make our voice heard. We need your help to fight this legislation now.
